Jailbreakers make progress in cracking iOS 6.
The Dev-Team has released redsn0w 0.9.15b, which still does not support the iPhone 4S and 5, but work to hack to A4 (iPhone 4 and 4G iPod touch) at this time. Currently, untethered jailbreaks are only possible with the iPhone 3GS.
However, the jailbreak now also supports the Cydia app store, and there is support for a direct firmware restore, as well as a blocked baseband update for A4 devices.
