Evad3rs released their untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 and other iOS 6 devices on Monday, even going as far as educating those who are interested in how exactly jailbreaking works. It
 was a moment many potential jail breakers were looking forward to, 
which was made more apparent once it was downloaded 1.7 million times.
iPhone users have been able to legally jailbreak their devices for some time now, although Apple has been reminding its users
 the dangers of jailbreaking since the first iPhone jailbreak was 
released. Seeing how popular Evad3rs’ jailbreak has become, Apple is 
once again reminding iOS users the dangers of jailbreaking their 
devices.
Apple has updated its unauthorized modification Knowledge Base 
article to “help” its iOS users learn just how dangerous it is to 
jailbreak their devices. They list some potential problems being program
 instability, dropped phone calls, security vulnerability and the 
shortening of battery life. Apple also has reminded its users that 
jailbreaking their iOS devices violates its iOS end-user license 
agreement and will reserve the right to deny service to jailbroken 
devices.
