Whenever we run a search we can clearly see that peoples interest in
the iPhone 6 is much higher than that of the iPhone 5S, but this has
been the same in the past when another minor refresh was expected. Even
though the latter is more likely, it’s clear that consumers focus is on
the former in a much bigger way.
It’s clear to see that there is a mixed opinion when it comes to the
iPhone 5S and 6, but most iOS users would much prefer to see the iPhone 6
later this year. There’s has been a few suggestions in regards to this,
such as Apple wasting time, effort and resources on small upgrades,
although they often try to pass it on as the latest technology.
Over the past year Apple has started to fall behind Samsung, and if
they release the iPhone 5S then this gap could get even bigger, as a few
iPhone owners can tell that Apple has started to get desperate, as they
have started to copy Android devices by going for a larger screen, if
an iPhone 6 with a larger display is released. Well, that is what most
Android users will want you to believe, but who was it who followed
Apple with a touchscreen smartphone and tablet in the first place?
We do have to laugh when people get called iSheep, it’s not like
Apple is forcing people to buy their devices. People know that Apple
does not always have the best hardware, but it’s more about the overall
package. Both platforms are very good, so it’s down to personal choice,
maybe we should start to call some Android users iHate, as they do not
like anything associated with Apple.
It’s not rocket science to know that most iPhone owners would much
rather an iPhone 6 rather than the 5S than in recent years with minor
upgrades, which could be referred to as a stepping stone device. It
would certainly be nice to have something radical with the next iPhone,
but not even the Galaxy S4 has anything radical, unless you believe eye
tracking is radical?
Let’s get real here, while there will be far more people who will
pass on an iPhone 5S than in previous years with minor iPhone upgrades,
if that is the intended release this year, as they have had enough of
these minor upgrades. But don’t think they will jump ship so quickly
either, maybe it’s worth holding on to the iPhone 5 for another year, if
the iPhone 6 is not released that is?
Apple has not even mentioned that there will be an iPhone 5S, so we
could be a little premature here, although we all know how Apple loves
to offer a minor refresh the year after a major upgrade.
