Is Samsung Making a Giant 'Galaxy Mega' Smartphone?

Samsung is reportedly working on a mid-range smartphone even larger than its “phablet,” the Galaxy Note.

According to Korea’s ET News, the handset will be called the Galaxy Mega, and will sport a whopping 6.3-inch screen, putting it almost on par with some of the smaller tablets out there, such as the 7-inch Nexus 7. ET News claims the phone will come with a dual-core Exynos processor and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, with a 2-megapixel forward-facing cam.

SamMobile is adding a little fuel to the rumor fire, claiming the Mega will have a 960 x 540 display, 1.4GHz Exynos processor, and 1GB of RAM. SamMobile thinks ET News is wrong, however, on the size of the device, suggesting that the Mega will have a 5.8-inch screen, only slightly larger (by 0.3 inches) than the Galaxy Note II.

Samsung announced the Galaxy S 4 during an event at Radio City Music Hall last month. The 5-inch smartphone has a 1920 x 1080 display, quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor (8-core 1.8GHz Exnyos 5 Octa processor overseas) and has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S 4 start April 16.

What do you think about the possibility of Samsung releasing a larger smartphone? Would you want a 5.8-inch or 6.3-inch smartphone? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Again the same Boring Design with big Screen... What is the use..?? Samsung is just fooling people around by aggressive Product launching and Advertisement. There is no new Innovation.
