Here Comes The Official Changelog For Android 4.2.2

Thursday, February 21, 2013:  Sometime last week, Google quietly released the Android 4.2.2 version leaving most of the users wondering what’s in store in the latest update. There were a few websites that quickly came to the rescue, trying to put together a list of new features for the Android 4.2.2 update. However, there lacked an official listing, which has finally arrived. Google published its official changelog for the update along with other features that come along with the Jelly Bean package.

Android 4.2, Jelly Bean improves on the speed and simplicity of Android 4.1 and includes all new features – Photo Sphere and a completely redesigned camera app, new Gesture Typing keyboard, Google Now with all new cards, and much more, says the official posting.

Under the new category, the page discusses a lot of features that were included in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean initially but were not detailed at that time. However, there are some minor features mentioned in the changelog that were not previously touched (and discussed). These include networking changes that were made to improve Wi-Fi Direct support and faster captive portal detection; TalkBack can now directly be accessed right from the power menu; It also talks about the Google Cards updates that have been made.
