Saturday, November 24, 2012:  Samsung’s Galaxy SIII has already won many accolades but Samsung is already keeping its eye on the next big thing, which is the Samsung Galaxy S4. Recently, we read about Samsung's flagship smartphone for the year 2013 and techies are already guessing the possible hardware and software of the device. Here are a few speculated and most talked about features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. 

Display: According to a Wall Street Journal report, a new bendable display is being tested by Samsung manufacturers and such a panel will be launched in the first half of 2013. This leaves everyone guessing that Samsung S4 could be the device to sport such a display. But a Korean daily has reported that Samsung will stick to the glass screen as manufacturers are facing issues with the bendable display because of the quantity. Samsung is unable to bring out bendable displays in bulk quantities due to the evaporation method involved in the process.

Screen: Samsung plays big in the smartphone market with its displays. This year we saw Galaxy SIII and Note II, where screen size was considered one of the main feature of the devices. With this, it is being said that Samsung will not settle down for something less than 12.67-cm (4.99-inch) Super AMOLED Display for its next Galaxy S device.

Processor: Moving beyond the screen size and screen type, next big thing is the processor of the device. It is said that the Korean Giant will integrate the Samsung Galaxy S4 with Exynos 5450 chipset, which means that it will have a quad-core Cortex 2GHz A15 processor. Also, it will use an 8 core GPU, Mali-658 unit.

Camera: It has become the most essential part of a smartphone these days as many of us choose a phone on the basis of its camera. And Samsung is not leaving any loop holes here as the rumours suggest that the new Galaxy S4 will house a 13MP camera to its rear side. This might come as a treat for all the photo enthusiasts but again, it is just a speculation.

Launch Date: The rumours are not just about the features and the specifications of the Galaxy S4 but also about the D-day when it will be launched. Earlier, it was said this flagship device will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) and then it was said that the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) will be the launch pad for the device. Samsung has denied all the rumours regarding the launch date and revealed nothing.
