Track Your Site’s Performance On The Move With Google Analytics App

Monday, July 02, 2012 Do you run a website or a blog and its performance is always on the top of your mind? Do you keep rushing back to your laptop or desktop to check the latest scores on the Google Analytics? If the answer is yes, then it’s time for you to own an Android device, if you don’t have it already. The news is that Google is extending Google Analytics app on Google Play for Android users. This app will enable you to track your Web page’s performance while on the move.

The Google Analytics app brings in real time data along with date-wise information and other traffic details. Here is what all you can see with the app:

Real-Time: See the number of visitors you currently have and a list of the pages (for websites) or screens (for apps) that are currently popular.

Dashboard: Monitor the KPIs and user metrics you care about the most. By default, you’ll see your Daily Unique Visitors and your Goal Conversion Rate, but you can customize the dashboard to change which reports, metrics, or segments you see.

Automatic and Customised Alerts: Google Analytics detects statistical anomalies in your data and can send you an alert when something unusual happens. See either automatic alerts, or customize your settings to send alerts based on your own benchmarks.

Peng Li from Google posted on the Analytics blog: “With the Google Analytics App, you can access the same accounts and profiles you see when you open Analytics from a desktop browser, but you’ll see reports that are optimised for your phone.”
